Lebanon's future in crisis
"Lebanon is once again under attack. The ceasefire agreed in November 2024 has not been upheld and the latest escalation has killed over 1,000 people and left nearly 1 million displaced.* The country now faces a severe humanitarian crisis which has further strained an already fragile education system. Many schools have been damaged and over 1,000 have been turned into shelters.** While some schools have reopened where conditions allow, many remain closed, putting Lebanon’s long-term future at risk by undermining its most valuable resource: its people."
